Foaled in 1985, Val was the result of the first cross of our foundation mare, Seven C Copper Penny, and our
foundation sire, October March King. Val has excelled in many divisions, winning championships in hand, in
English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and Hunter Pleasure, and was the 1999 World Champion Trail horse. He
also competed in open competition, and was the 2002 Virginia Arabian Horse Association District 4 overall High
Point Horse, placing over past national champion Arabians, Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, and many other breeds
over a series of 5 shows. He is truly a wonder horse. He always has a willing attitude and wants to do what you
want to do. He has been a favorite of trainers and visitors. We feel very fortunate to have him in our lives. Val is
now retired from the show ring at 22, but he still trail rides and introduces visitors to the wonders of the Morgan
Horse.
